Every enquiry webhook has a category in data.category that tells you what kind of enquiry it is, alongside the enquiry type in type.
Who can use it: enquiry webhooks are available to Enhanced and Platinum subscribers. See Enquiry Webhooks Overview.
Categories
You choose which enquiry types a webhook receives in the Portal. Some types cover more than one category.
| Category ID | Category name | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | General Enquiry | general.create |
| 2 | Brochure Request | brochure.create |
| 4 | Care Enquiry | care.create |
| 5 | Job Enquiry | job.create |
| 20 | Onsite Tour/Consultation Request | tour.create |
| 21 | Remote Tour/Consultation Request | tour.create |
| 62 | Care Enquiry via Phone | call.create |
| 63 | Care Enquiry via Care Help Team | care.create |
In the request body the category looks like this:
"category": {
"id": 63,
"name": "Care Enquiry via Care Help Team"
}
A Care Enquiry via Care Help Team is a care enquiry our Care Help Team sent to your setting on behalf of a family. A Care Enquiry via Phone is a call to your setting's carehome.co.uk phone number that has been recorded as a care enquiry.
Use the category ID rather than the name in your code, as names can change.
Types
Every type ends in .create, because we only send new enquiries. Test events from the Portal end in .test, for example tour.create.test; see Enquiry Webhook Setup.
Each enquiry type has an example page showing a full request and the extra fields it carries:
