What is the stamp?

The ‘Recommended On’ stamp is an image confirming that your care home is registered on carehome.co.uk and has been reviewed through the site.

It can come as in electronic form or as a window sticker.

The stamp looks like this: 

It is available to care homes with an Enhanced, Premium or Platinum subscription to carehome.co.uk, at no additional cost.

Your care home must have had at least one review published on its carehome.co.uk profile to qualify for a ‘Recommended On’ stamp.

Why use it?

Displaying the ‘Recommended On’ stamp is a great way to show that your care home is featured on the site and that it has been reviewed.

It can also bring attention to your profile, invite questions from visitors about what it means. This can then inspire them to leave their own reviews on your profile, as well as read your current reviews and press releases, thereby increasing your profile’s engagement.

How to order & use the stamp

‘Recommended On’ stickers can be displayed on any window in your care home, with many people choosing to place it near the front door or somewhere passersby can see it from the road.

Electronic versions of the sticker can be used on any of your care home’s media. This could be on your website, your brochure, your social media or in your emails.

To order your ‘Recommended On’ stamp as a window sticker:

1. Access your carehome.co.uk control panel.
2. From the menu on the left-hand side, select Reviews, then Generate and Display (Offline), then ‘Recommended On’ Window Stickers.  
3. Fill in the information required, including the care home you would like the sticker for and your name, address and the number of stickers you’d like.
4.  Then select Request Window Stickers to submit your request.

To get an electronic copy of the stamp:

1. Access your carehome.co.uk control panel.
2. From the menu on the left-hand side, select Reviews, then Generate and Display (Online), then ‘Recommended On’ Website Stamp. 
3. Select the care home you would like a sticker for from the drop-down menu.
4. Highlight the stamp code that is generated in the box below. You can copy this by right-clicking it and selecting ‘Copy’, or by pressing Ctrl and C at the same time on your keyboard.
5. Paste the stamp code where you’d like the stamp to go (such as your website or brochure) by right-clicking and selecting ‘Paste’, or by pressing Ctrl and V at the same time.

You must generate an electronic stamp through your dashboard, rather than simply saving an image of it to ensure it links back to carehome.co.uk so that people can see your reviews and why your care home is recommended.
