Pinned Reviews

What is a Pinned Review?

If you have received a review that you would particularly like visitors to your profile to read, you can select it as a Pinned Review. This means that the pinned review will be shown second-to-top of your list of reviews.

Pinned Review allows you to pin one review for each of your profiles, allowing you to showcase the most useful review. A Pinned Review shows at all times as:

• the review showing on your listing on all search result pages
• the 2nd Review listed on your profile page
• the 2nd Review showing on your Review Widget

As well as manually selecting your pinned review, there is an 'auto selection' option that will automatically select the highest-rated review in the last 12 months. Please note that any manually selected pinned review must be a review posted within the last 12 months.

This feature is available with a Platinum subscription.

Why use a Pinned Review?

Having a Pinned Review enables you to show reviews that you are particularly proud of or that you feel are currently particularly relevant or helpful to visitors to your profile.

Some reviews are more comprehensive than others and if somebody leaves a brilliant review that you think really encapsulates your care home, pinning it can be informative to visitors to your page and even make them more likely to submit an enquiry.

How to pin a review

To select a review to pin on your public profile:

1. Access your carehome.co.uk dashboard.
2. From the menu to the left of the screen, select Reviews, then Generate & Display (Online), then Pinned Review. 
3. Choose the care home you would like to pin a review for and click Select Review. 
4. A pop-up menu will appear on your screen. This shows all the reviews that have been published on your profile in the last 12 months. Select the review you would like to pin by clicking the box provided under the Selected column. 
5. Click Save changes.
