I have submitted my review, what happens now?

Once received, your review is entered onto our system by our Review Team. 

Your review is then flagged as ‘Pending Publication’ and an email is sent to you notifying you that we aim to publish your review within 7 days. 

An email is also sent to the contacts of the care provider with a link to the Review. 

Can the care home take action against my review?

The care home provider is informed that your review will automatically be published after 7 days unless they select one of the following options

 1) Publish Immediately. The Review will be published and an email sent to the reviewer and care provider saying the review is live.

 2) Publish adding a reply to the Review. The care home will publish your review but will have a right to reply (their reply will be public along with your review) The review team will verify the reply to ensure that the care home provider abide by the terms of the review policy and then the Review will be published with an email sent to you and to the contacts of the care provider saying the review is now live.

Please be aware that during this moderation process, your personal details may be used by us or passed on to the organisation you are reviewing in order to contact you for the purpose of verifying/replying to your review.

How long will my review take to be published?

We cannot guarantee how quickly reviews will be posted on our site. We try to process the reviews as quickly as we can, but on occasions, it can take up to 30 days for them to be published or deemed non-compliant with our review policy.

What happens if my review is deemed not to comply with the review policy?

An email is sent to you to say that the review has not been accepted and also to the contacts of the care provider. When a Review is rejected for not conforming to the Content Standards, the email to you will state that you can amend and re-submit your review.

We do reserve the right to edit and alter Reviews to ensure that the Review complies with our Review Policy. As a general rule, we will only edit Reviews to remove names from the content of the Reviews and to correct spellings or basic grammar.
