How to take control of your free basic profile

Every care home that is registered with CQC features on our website.  Even if you are not a client of ours, your care home may well be available on our site and care seekers may try to contact you through our website or leave a review.  You can take advantage of your free profile by optimising your profile with our free features, building your online reputation and receiving more enquiries from people looking for care through our website.  The first step is to create a log in to your carehome.co.uk dashboard.  To do that, follow these simple steps

Step 1 - Create a carehome.co.uk account

In order for us to link your access to your control panel where you can take advantage of your free basic profile, first of all create an account with carehome.co.uk.  To do this, navigate to the top right of the carehome.co.uk homepage and click "My carehome.co.uk" next to the login button then the first option "Sign up"

Then fill out the short sign up form, ensuring that you use your care home email address.

Step 2 - Contact our support team

Now you have an account on carehome.co.uk our support team can use it to link access to the carehome.co.uk Control Panel.  You can do this by calling 01488 684321 (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm) or emailing via our contact form on this page (click the button "Email carehome.co.uk)

Step 3 - Log out and Log back in to your carehome.co.uk profile

Once we have let you know that your care home profile and Control Panel are linked to your carehome.co.uk account you will need to log out and back in to your account.  You can do this by clicking the "My carehome.co.uk" menu button again and then clicking the last option "log out".

Step 4 - Go to your Control Panel and start improving your profile

When you log into your carehome.co.uk account this time, you will see an option that asks if you want to "Manage your Care Home profile", click the button that states your Care Home name.  When you have done this, go back to our Basic Profile Guide to see what options are available on our Basic Service that will help you improve your carehome.co.uk profile listing for free.
