Article Summary

Having photos on your profile to show off your care home is one of the most effective ways to generate high quality enquiries.

Photos will catch care seekers' eyes, and show rather than tell is a great way of letting potential residents and their loved ones know what your care home looks like inside and out.

Adding 12 photos will add 10% to your overall profile completeness.

For tips and advice on what photos to take to get the most out of this feature, please see our article on what photos you should include.

How to add photos

1. Go to your Control Panel dashboard and navigate to the Photos section

You can either use the dropdown menu on the left or click the ‘Add Content’ button for photos in the profile completeness list.

2. Click on ‘Select multiple photos to upload’

You can upload an unlimited number of photos. We recommend that you upload at least 12.

3. Drag and drop your photos into the box or click ‘Browse’ to find your photos to upload them

You can upload a single photo at a time or bulk upload.

In this example, we are using five stock photos, but we highly recommend that you use real photos as they will tell people the most about your home.

Click the 'Done' button when you are happy with the photos you have uploaded. If you want to add more photos, simply click ‘Upload more’.

We highly recommend that you upload at least 12 photos. Our research has shown that more photos equal more enquiries.

4. Add captions and reorder photos

At the top of the page, you will see how the photos will appear on your profile and in searches.

They may not appear in the order that you want them to. To reorder your photos, simply drag and drop the photos in the order you want them to appear.

Here, you can also add captions to each photo.

When you are happy with your changes, click ‘Save Changes’.

How photos appear on your profile

Your photos will appear at the top of your profile, highly visible to anyone visiting your profile.

When people click on the buttons a new window opens and they will be able to scroll through all your photos in the order you have arranged them.
