How to add or remove a care home/setting to your account

To add a new care home, add another care home, attach or remove a care home from your account, navigate to your Control Panel, click the Profile tab in the menu, and then Profile Details to manage your records. 

Adding a care home/setting to your account

 In the drop-down menu, select Submit a New Record to request a new entry for Residential Homes, Nursing Homes, Adult Day Care Centres, Extra Care Housing or Mental Health Hospitals.

Select what category your new setting falls under, e.g. Residential Homes, and fill out the details, including business name, address and your contact details.

 When you have filled in the details, click Request Entry for verification.

Attach or Remove a care home/setting from your account

To attach an existing record on carehome.co.uk to your account, e.g. a newly purchased care home, or to remove a record from your account, e.g. the care home has closed or been sold, click on Attach/Remove a Member Record in the drop-down menu.

  

Attaching a record

If you have acquired a new care home or other setting that is not currently listed as owned by you on carehome.co.uk, enter the name of the setting and select the existing record from the list.

Give the reason for the attachment, e.g. recently purchased or data error and click Send Update at the bottom of the page for verification.

Removing a record

To remove a record from your account, e.g. if the setting has closed down or sold to another provider, select a setting from the drop-down menu and give a reason for the removal.

Click Send Update at the bottom of the page for verification.
