Article Summary

What does adding a logo to my profile look like?

If you choose to add a logo to your care home profile or to your groups profile, we'll include it at the top of your profile page near your review score

Why add a logo?

Adding a logo has many benefits:

  1. It looks professional.  If you have a logo, it can help instil confidence in a care seeker that your care home is a professional company
  2. You may get recognised.  It's much easier to remember a visual representation than a piece of text.  A care seeker may have seen your logo in places such as other advertisements or your care home sign.
  3. If you have care homes in multiple locations it may help somebody seeking care from outside your care homes area associate the quality of your care provided with your brand.

Adding a logo to your profile is very simple.

  1. Navigate to your carehome.co.uk Control Panel. Go to the Profile Menu, sub-menu Photo/PS/Logos/Video/360 and then click Logos
  2. Click to button "Upload Logo" and select the file you want to upload

Please note, that if you are a group of care homes, you will want to ensure that you are logged into your group profile.  This will filter the logo that's added to your group down into your different care home profiles.

Logo specification requirements

The logo you upload will be converted to a .png file and resized and cropped to best fit our logo template.  Our logo template is 72 pixels height and a max of 192 pixels width.  We will use a white canvas to pad out your logo to the correct size if required.

If you are not happy with white padding, you will have to create a logo that is sized to our template.

The maximum size logo file you may upload is 40MB.

Do not upload anything other than your logo here.  We will reject award stamps, authority ratings and certificates, even if they are included along with your logo.
