Care Offered: How to add care categories to your profile

  • PDF

Article Summary

Adding what care you offer is central to your profile as this information tells care seekers what specialist care you provide, such as dementia care or physical disability care. Without this information on your profile, you may be overlooked by care seekers with care needs that you can accommodate.

Adding what types of care you offer will add 10 per cent to your overall Profile Completeness and will appear prominently on your profile.

How to add Care Offered information

From your Dashboard, you can either use the drop-down menu and click ‘update profile details’ or click ‘Add content’ under the Profile Completeness section.

The next step is to simply tick the boxes representing which care you offer. This allows you to tell care seekers whether you can meet the care requirements.

For Care Types Provided, you can tell us which care types your care home delivers. For any Care Type you select "yes" against, please tell us a rough estimate of what your total bed allocation is across those Care Types. Ensure that the total adds up to 100%.

Also pay attention  to the ‘Other Care Provided’ section, where you can tick boxes relevant to you, for example if you provide Palliative Care and/or Respite care.

When you have ticked the boxes relevant to your setting, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and press ‘Submit’.
