Videos How to add a video to a profile

A video is a great way to give visitors to your profile a tour of the setting, giving them a sense of what it has to offer.

To add a video to a profile, click on Profile in the menu and select Photos/PS/Logo/Video/360. Click on Video in the drop-down menu where you can select a setting to update its videos.

 Enhanced & Premium Subscribers can upload 1 Video.

 Platinum Subscribers can upload up to 3 Videos.

In the Video section, you can add or remove a video from your profile and groups can view which of their profiles currently have or do not currently have a video.

You can either select a setting from the drop-down menu or click Update Videos from the list. You can choose to show all records or filter by records with or without video. 

To add a video to the profile, click on Upload Video. 

Click on Select a Video to upload from your computer/laptop, either by drag and drop or by browsing your files. You can also connect your account and upload your video directly from Dropbox and Facebook.

Group profile videos 

If you upload a video(s) to your group profile, these videos will feature on the member profiles if the member profiles have 0 videos uploaded to them.  As soon as you upload one or more videos to your member profile these will replace the videos uploaded at the group level.

What should I include in a video on my profile?

It is advisable to have at least one video that emulates a tour of your setting. This includes views of the main rooms and bedrooms, other facilities and outdoor spaces.

Another tip is to include your staff and perhaps residents speaking about what life is like at the setting, such as the atmosphere, activities, meals and any other positives you can think of.

Why should I add a video to my profile?

 Moving images are a great way to entice care seekers and gives them a better sense of the environment they may live in.

A video with people speaking makes it more personal and compared to still images, does a better job at giving people a feel for what their experience might be like.

What are the specification requirements for video?

For a video to be uploaded it must be less than 1GB in size.
