Do I add a URL or an email address to my job advert for applications?
When creating a job advert you are asked to receive applications either by email or via a URL link.
If you have an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) you may want to select URL Applications. This means when applicants apply for your vacancy, they will submit a CV to our website and then be diverted to your website to complete the process.
Top Tip: It is always worth checking your Control Panel when the advert closes to make sure you have all the applications as applicants may be put off when diverted to a new website.
If you do not have a website where applicants can apply directly, then you should select Email Applications. With this option, every time someone applies to your job advert you will receive an email with their CV. Again, it is always worth checking applications on the Control Panel once the advert has closed to make sure you have not missed an email.
