How do I apply for jobs?
To apply for jobs you will need to have an account (accounts are free) uploaded a CV and completed your job profile information. Once you have done this, you can go to any job and click the ‘Apply’ button
How do I upload my CV?
You will need to have an account and be logged into the website to use this feature (See ‘set up an account FAQ)
Then you need go to the drop-down menu and select ‘Register CV’ and then click on ‘Add CV’. Now upload your CV and complete your profile information, filling out the required fields. After this is complete, you will be able to apply for the jobs that suit you!
My CV won’t upload?
The most common reason is that your CV is saved in a file type that we do not accept. The accepted file types are doc, .docx, .odt, .pdf, .rtf
What do I do if I haven’t got a CV?
You will need to put together a CV in order to apply for jobs on our website. Need help with knocking-up a CV? No problem! Please find a link to our CV Template and some hints and tips on how to create a great CV that employers can’t say no to, here.
How do I set up and manage job alerts?
When you run a job search on carehome.co.uk, it will ask you if you want to create a job alert (so that relevant jobs are emailed to you). To edit your alert just go to your carehome.co.uk account and you’ll see your alerts under the heading ‘Jobseekers’.
You can edit and delete them here. Alternatively, you can edit and delete from one of the job alerts emails you have been sent.
What do I do with my information when I’m no longer looking for work?
You can log into your account and go to “Manage CV”. At the top of the page you have the option to delete your CV and your profile details. This means that you’ll still have a login account for the future but your jobseeker details will be removed.
If you wish to remove your account entirely, you can go to “My Account” and click on “Remove my Account”.
